RSA

What is on this page is a copy we hold — it is worth our word and no more. A capture is the difference: this site’s browser photographs a page, hashes the picture and writes the time down, and puts that hash on Solana, so the date stops being anybody’s word against anybody else’s. It goes in a vault only you can see, on a page you can hand to whoever needs it when you choose.

This post is already gone, so a capture cannot go back and photograph it — what it captures is a page that is still up. If what you need is this post, the copy above and its transaction are what exist, and the terms say what that is and is not.

The post as the site captured it: All RSA primes used in encryption today are only “probably prime”

Nobody has actually run the full proof of them (the naive approach is to test disability all the way up to sqrt(n))

Which is why the RSA series is currently vulnerable and people are finding their factors.

The post as this site’s browser saw it 41d ago. It was kept for the day the post stopped being public, and that day has come: this is the copy. The coin still rests on the post’s words above, which went onto the chain at the mint, not on this picture.

Its coin

Every screenshot here is also a coin on Solana: a token named after the words, that anyone can buy and sell, and that one person can launch on Raydium. Connect a wallet to start. Coins are on a Solana test network for now, which pays out in test SOL.

Reading the chain…

On the way to Raydium0.0%

When it fills, the pot moves to a Raydium pool, the liquidity is burned, and the mint is closed for good. Or fill it yourself: launching RSA now costs about 31.6091 SOL with a wallet, above.

How this coin pays out, and where it ends up

Every trade on this coin pays 2%, buying and selling alike: 0.75% to @jpthor, 0.5% to whoever called it, and 0.75% to Screenshot This. A round trip that goes nowhere costs you 4%.

When the curve fills, the pot does not vanish: it seeds a pool on Raydium at the price the curve closed at, the liquidity tokens are burned so nobody can pull it, the mint is closed so nobody can make more, and RSA trades there like any other Solana token. From then on it stops paying a caller’s share — ours included — because it is no longer trading here. Fees come off each trade, never out of the pot, so nothing the author or the caller earn was ever part of what backs the price.
