Terms of use
The deal,in plain words.
Last updated 18 September 2026. If something here contradicts what the site does, the site is what is true and this page is the bug.
1. Who you are dealing with
Screenshot This is operated by Screenshotthis.com and reached at info@Screenshotthis.com. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
2. What Screenshot This is
You paste a public post, or upload a screenshot of one. It becomes a coin on a bonding curve, and the post’s words — or the screenshot’s fingerprint — are written onto the Solana blockchain. People buy and sell that coin. Separately, for a post fetched from X, a public price feed records whether the call it made turned out right a day, a week and a month later. A coin made from a screenshot is never scored, because a screenshot can be faked, and it is labelled unverified everywhere it appears.
Those two things are not connected. The verdict does not move the price and does not pay anybody. The whole mechanism is on the how-it-works page, with the numbers.
3. Play credits are not money
Everyone starts with 1,000 play credits. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, cannot be cashed out and are not a claim on us or on anything else. We may reset, adjust or withdraw them at any time. Nothing you do with play credits is a financial transaction.
4. Coins on the blockchain
A coin put on the Solana chain is outside our control once it exists. Transactions are irreversible. We cannot reverse a trade, recover a coin sent to the wrong address, restore a lost wallet key or undo anything you sign. You are responsible for your own wallet.
You trade on the curve at the price the curve asks. A coin’s price can fall to nothing. Money you put into a coin is money you can lose entirely, and the people most likely to lose it are the ones who arrive last.
5. This is not advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. The verdicts are a record of what a price did. They are not a forecast and they are not a rating. We are not your broker, your adviser or your custodian.
6. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must not use the site where doing so breaks the law that applies to you, and that is your judgement to make, not ours. You must not use it to launder money, to evade sanctions, or on behalf of anybody subject to them.
7. Posts, and the people who wrote them
Minting a post writes its text and the identity of the post on a public blockchain, permanently. Do not mint a post you do not have the right to reproduce. Do not mint private, unlawful or intimate material. Minting somebody’s post does not make you its author and does not transfer any right in it to you or to us.
If you wrote a post somebody minted and you want it off the board, write to info@Screenshotthis.com. We will take the coin off the board, out of its caller’s record and out of the scoring. We will say on its page that it was taken down and why. What we cannot do is remove it from the blockchain, because nobody can. That limit is worth understanding before you mint anything.
8. Screenshots you upload
Uploading a screenshot publishes it. The image is stored on our servers and served publicly from this site, and its SHA-256 fingerprint is written to the blockchain with the caption you gave it, under your X username. Only upload an image you have the right to publish. Do not upload private, unlawful, intimate or infringing material, or a screenshot doctored to put words in somebody’s mouth. We will remove an image from this site on request from the person it concerns or its rights holder; the fingerprint on the blockchain stays, because nobody can remove it, and on its own it does not reveal what the image showed.
9. What a trade costs
Each trade pays 2%, on buying and on selling alike: 1% to whoever made the call and 1% to us. A round trip therefore costs 4%. Fees come off each trade, never out of the pot. A coin’s terms are fixed when it is minted; changing the default reprices the next coin and cannot reprice one that already has holders.
10. Things we do not do
We cannot mint more of a coin, freeze your tokens, drain a coin’s pot, hold a founder allocation, change a live coin’s terms or move the price of anything. These are properties of the deployed program rather than promises about our conduct, and each one is set out with its reason on the how-it-works page, along with the two places where you are trusting us rather than the arithmetic.
11. Behaving on the site
Do not attack the site, its database or the program. Do not script abuse of the bot or the mint. Do not impersonate anybody. We may remove a coin, suspend an account or refuse service where we reasonably believe one of these is happening, or where the law requires it.
12. No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, free of errors, or that any price feed, blockchain network or third-party service it depends on will work when you need it. Verdicts are written from public price feeds and inherit whatever those feeds get wrong.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Screenshotthis.com is not liable for trading losses, for the value of any coin, for anything a blockchain network or a third-party service does, or for lost profits or lost opportunity. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Changes, and ending it
We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page moves when we do, and continuing to use the site is how you accept the change. You can stop using the site at any time. Coins already on the blockchain are unaffected by any of this, because they are not ours to affect.
15. The law this is read under
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Territory, Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
