Bitcoin pumpers are trying to hitch Bitcoin to the AI wagon, hoping investors will see it as part of the AI trade. They have it backwards. AI isn’t bullish for Bitcoin; it’s a threat to it. AI competes with Bitcoin for speculative capital, electricity, and data-center…
A record nobody can tidy up
@peterschiffis right 41% of the time.
a best run of 2. 11 of 27 checks landed, across 10 calls going back to 22 November 2019. Each call is timestamped from its tweet’s own id and scored once against a price feed.
The record
A call is right when the price moved the way it was called, and wrong when it did not. Nothing is scored twice and nothing is revised: a checkpoint is written once, from the price at the hour it fell due, and stands. Fifty per cent is what a coin flip gets.

All of the price forecasts for Bitcoin assume demand rises. But why should it? Most people who own Bitcoin are losing money. When investors in Bitcoin get tired of losing money demand for Bitcoin should decline. If Bitcoin is going down, why would people who don't own it buy any?
There is way too much complacency in Bitcoin for the market to be anywhere near a bottom. When Bitcoin breaks $50K, it should be a quick fall below $20K, which should be a big enough drop to shake the conviction of long-term HODLers, causing many to finally throw in the towel.
What’s happening with silver is about to happen with Bitcoin, only in reverse. Silver’s spectacular rise will usher in Bitcoin’s catastrophic collapse. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Bitcoin HODLers not only believe they can’t lose on Bitcoin, but that extraordinary gains are guaranteed so long as they ride out the volatility. When such an overwhelming consensus develops, markets tend to confound expectations by doing the opposite of what the crowd expects.
The biggest mistake I made with Bitcoin when I first learned about it was overestimating the ability of others to understand why it wouldn’t work. The very people foolish enough to buy it thinking it would work will be foolish enough not to sell it as the market proves me right.
This looks like a triple top to me. The chart is even worse if you price #Bitcoin in #gold. At a minimum, Bitcoin is headed to the upward trend line at about $42K, but I doubt it will hold. A retest of longer-term support at $15K–$20K is more likely. Look out below. @saylor pic.twitter.com/d83NRh4Rx5
I was wrong about #Bitcoin.
Congratulations to those who bought Bitcoin early, pumped up the price, and who've been dumping into the hype. You succeeded in getting Wall Street to buy into the mania. When I first learned about #Bitcoin I didn't think smart investors would be dumb enough to buy. I was wrong.
I posted this comment on my Facebook page in response to the Bitcoin community's attempt to discredit me for predicting a sharp fall in the price of Bitcoin. Their reaction is typical. My reply is too long to tweet, so I included a screen shot. pic.twitter.com/BCzqj9F88E
Newest first. A call with no asset and no direction on it was never put on the record by whoever minted it, so there is nothing to check — the words are not guessed at.
