That line namesthe format.
It is the first of the four lines on every capture, not the address of one. Your capture lives at its own link, on its page and in your vault.
The four lines
screenshotthis.com/v1 <the address the browser ended on> <when the picture was taken, ISO 8601, UTC> <SHA-256 of the picture>
Newline separated, no trailing newline. The first line says which rules built the rest, so a receipt can still be checked after those rules have moved on. This is version 1.
Checking a capture without trusting us
- Download the picture from the capture’s page and hash it with SHA-256. It must equal the fourth line.
- Hash the four lines exactly as the page shows them. That is the statement hash.
- Open the Solana transaction linked from the page and read its memo. It carries the statement hash, and the network’s block time says when it was written.
